I love this place. Ortigia is full of shops that cook fried calamar but most of them are just ok. This place makes good portions (the right amount), great quality and good price. The staff is very nice too. You can take the food to go or eat there, in a very nice and quiet street. I strongly recommend calamari fritti, and Duomo and Calarossa sandwiches. Incredibly good!

We had the most delicious lunch here, great value and lovely staff. The crispy squid with nduja mayonnaise is so good

Modern sandwich shop with seafood-focused options. The arancini and the octopus sandwich were nice, but I realized I prefer octopus on a plate rather than in a bun. Staff were friendly and attentive. A good stop, especially for a casual lunch.

I had the red shrimp tartare, can even explain how divine this was… unreal! And the fried prawns which were sweet and so light, absolutely beautiful! The sandwiches looked incredible and I will 100% return to try them

Super friendly staff, fab setting right opposite lovely theatre, great spicy potato wedges, and various choices for sandwiches and salads. I opted for Maniace (large juicy prawns, crispy bacon, etc) amd it was fantastic. If you prefer skipping the bread, they do salads with the same ingredients. Great little find, especially as they are open when most people are shut.

food was amazing, but it took 1 hour to get our order (only 2 sandwhiches). they came with 2 different orders to our table before we actually got ours, which was weird given they re taking orders on a tablet. sandwhiches were worth the wait tho

We love this restaurant as the food is delicious & the staff are so friendly & enjoyable. We’ve had lunch here many times during our month stay in Ortigia. We usually select the salads where you pick the choices of ingredients so each salad is unique. But I’ve seen other customers eating sandwiches so one day I ordered the Maremonti sandwich & I moaned with delight over the complex & delicious flavors! Today, with friends, I encouraged them to try this sandwich & they agreed it was special! Hearing they will be closing for holiday soon we will definitely have a few more lunches there before we leave for home. Today we celebrated with the staff by taking mutual photos.

I ate here like 4 times in a few days and it was always excelent, both food and attention. I loved the calamari fritti, the octopus burguer and the shrimp burguer. Very interesting and good flavours and quality. The location is also lovely, in front of the Theater.
